This character is Yakumo Shinonome. Yakumo is a Revenant and companion in Code Vein. He once was a mercenary before he became a Revenant. 

This character is The Protagonist: The customizable playable Revenant - Their unique power places them at the center of many key events throughout the game, being both Operation Queenslayer and the Successor of her Blood. 

This character is Oliver Collins. Oliver is a good-willed revenant that supports other starving and weak revenants. He is also the first companion the Protagonist meets. However, his purifier mask gets broken by a frenzied Revenant and he ends up becoming part of the Lost. 

This character is Io. She is the Attendant of the Successor of Blood, intended to serve the Protagonist in their struggle until the day they die. However, Io began to question her role as Attendant and the meaning of her own life, soon thereafter seeking out truth of her existence with the help of the Protagonist. 

This character is Coco. Coco is a dealer that sells both materials and items to the Protagonist, she also purchases whatever items the Protagonist wishes to sell.

This character is Rin Murasame. Rin Murasame is a weapons dealer and upgrader. She is also known as the "Yaksha" (demon) for her astounding combat prowess; Rin is a weapons expert and has a lively spirit. She was once the leader of a group of experienced Revenants despite being 16 years old.

This character is Davis. Davis was a member of 'Cerberus', although he lost his memories due to numerous intense battles; You can speak to Davis in the Home Base to explore The Depths.

This character is Mia Karnstein. Mia is the older sister of Nicola and a scavenger. However, her path changed after meeting the Protagonist and their group. At first she was defensive, but later joined the group to find some answers that might explain both her brother and Jack's motives.

This character is Nicola Karnstein. Nicola Karnstein is Mia's younger brother, a strong-willed child who wishes nothing more but to protect his sister and become strong. 

This character is Jack "Revenant Hunter" Rutherford; Jack is a Revenant who has deep connection with the Protagonist. Known as "Revenant Hunter" by some.

This character is Eva Roux; Eva Roux is a Revenant with a complicated past. She is the companion of Jack and serves as the Successor of the Throat.

This character is Emily Su. Emily Su is a childhood friend of Yakumo Shinonome & She has romantic interest in Yakumo, and wishes to do as good as she can. However after the Great Collapse she was separated from Yakumo.

This character is Karen Amamiya. Karen is a former scientist before the Great Collapse who later becomes a nurse for the injured Revenants. She is Louis Amamiya's sister.

This character is Aurora Valentino. Aurora was once a prestigious scientist and researcher before the Great Collapse. She was then revived as a revenant where she enlisted as one of the head researchers of operation Q.U.E.E.N.

This character is Cruz Silva. Cruz Silva is the girl that became the test subject of the Q.U.E.E.N. Project. She was a schoolmate of Louis and is Gregorio Silva’s daughter.

This character is Gregorio Silva. He is the father of Cruz Silva and was a former soldier, who, after his death, was turned into a Revenant for project Q.U.E.E.N. 

This character is Juzo Mido. Juzo is the leading Revenant researcher and the main antagonist of the story. Before the Great Collapse, Mido adopted orphans and repeatedly conducted experiments on them, then sent those experiments to the battlefield as soldiers.

The Successor of the Eye has the ability to detect Miasma itself and other Successors. Its host is Jack Rutherford.

The Successor of the Throat has the ability to manipulate sand and soothe the frenzied Revenants with their voice. Its original host was unknown (presumably Valerio), as he was killed by Jack and his Relic is passed onto Eva Roux, a Revenant and Jack's partner, accompanying him in finding the Successors using her song as he once saved her life. However, she was soon captured by Mido and tortured until she frenzied. Her Successor form is fought in the Crown of Sand, taking the form of a feminine statue holding Eva within her chest with two of its four arms. A pink rose can be seen protruding from her right eye. She can summon hands made of sand.

The Successor of the Breath has the ability to manipulate ice and endure enhanced durability. Its host is Nicola Karnstein, who willingly took the role from Jack thinking it would help him protect his older sister Mia, creating clones of himself to accompany Mia on her journey and resist himself from frenzying.

The Successor of the Ribcage has the ability of teleportation and vas magical enhancements. Its host is Aurora Valentino, one of the head scientists of the BOR Parasites. Her Successor form is fought in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood, taking the form of a four-armed humanoid in a white dress with a wolf head.

The Successor of the Claw has the ability to manipulate fire as well as endure enhanced mobility. Its host is Emily Su who, along with her childhood friend Yakumo, were enslaved by Juzo Mido to serve as his soldiers. During his cruel experimentations with Revenants and the Successors, Emily allowed Mido to turn her into the Successor of the Claw so Yakumo would live. Her Successor form is fought in the City of Falling Flames, taking the form of a cat-like creature with flaming claws on her hands.

The Successor of the Brain has the ability to create a large barrier of red Miasma mist that isolates Vein from the rest of the world to protect the world from the Revenants and the Queen, and protect them from the Aragami. Simply approaching the wall will drive anyone mad. Its host is Gregorio Silva, the father of Cruz Silva (the host of the Queen), sitting on his throne in the Gaol of the Stagnant Blood.

A Blood Bead is a fruit-like bead grown from bloodsprings around the world. Blood Beads contain blood- which can be use as a substitute for human blood that can quench a Revenant's bloodthirst. Large specimens are stated to keep an adult revenant healthy for two months, but with many of the springs drying up, there aren’t many left found like this. Excess Blood Bead and those harvested by the levies of Silva’s Provisional Government can be stored for future uses after being processed. It can be assumed that they can be placed into a base container or into existing beverages like the ones lined up along the walls of the hideout’s bar.
