Secret Squadron Gorenger, created in 1975, was the first series. The one pictured is the 5th series, 1981's Solar Squadron Sun Vulcan.

2016's Animal Squadron Zyuogher was never adapted. 2019's Dinoknight Squadron Ryusoulger became Power Rangers Dino Fury, Special Ops Squadron Go-Busters became PR Beast Morphers, and 1994's Kakuranger became Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.

These 24 episode were dedicated to all the series from 88's Liveman to 09's Shinkenger (plus 79's Battle Fever J), except Turboranger, Fiveman, and Zyuranger. 2009's Shinkenger was the only ones to receive 2-part tributes.

The Titanium Ranger was added to 2000's Power Ranger Lightspeed Rescue, as the source material, Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive (Emergency Squadron GoGoFive) had no sixth ranger.

After the original crossover between Gorenger and JAKQ Dengekitai in 1978, there were no more until the crossover between 1995's Ohranger and 1994's Kakuranger.

Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger (Space Squadron Kyuranger) begins with a total of 9 rangers, (kyu = 9), but 2 more are introduced early on, and the introduction of the "6th" ranger brings the total count to 12.

In 1984's SuperElectron Bioman, both the yellow and pink rangers are female (prior to this, only pink rangers were female). Pictured: 1985's Blitzkrieg Squadron Changeman.

MidoNinger was a one off ranger, appearing in a side story for 2015's Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. The first regular green ranger, part of the main team, was Kyuranger's Chameleon Green. The first female green ranger in Power Rangers is the counterpart of Ryusoulger's Ryusoul Green, who is originally male.

2009's Decade crossed over with 2009's Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. 1988's Black RX got an American adaption akin to Power Rangers in 1995, called Masked Rider, and did a crossover with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Black RX has never appeared in Super Sentai, however.

SaiDaiOh is the mech of GekiChopper, the equivalent of a sixth ranger, in 2007's Juken Sentai Gekiranger. RyuteiOh is the mech of Ryu Commander, the violet ranger in 2017's Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, and while he does join the team later on, he is not considered the sixth ranger of the Kyuranger (that honor belonds to Houou Soldier).
