Asuka (FKA Kana) was never the boss's favorite back in Japan, she once criticized the way Joshi wrestling is being presented, thinking that wrestling should have more real styles and ban moves that obviously look fake, in 2010 she released a gravure film called the "Kana Manifesto" which was made in order to mock the Joshi Puroresu culture and criticize everything Kana felt was wrong with the culture, following this, World Wonder Ring Stardom was founded by fellow Joshi wrestlers Fuka Kakimoto and Nanae Takahashi, the 1st signee of the compay was the gravure idol Yuzuki Aikawa who was signed to mock back Kana's accusations against Stardom
