Known as the Count of Chambord, Henry of Bourbon was the legitimate claimant to the Throne of France after the death of Charles X. He was so close to the restoration of his Throne due to a favorable national assembly at the time, that the Horse Carriage scheduled to take him back from Rheims was already under construction. His refusal of the republican tricolour caused the plan to foil.
